FONG YONG electrical potting compounds are based on one and two-component epoxy resin and silicone compound chemistries. They are solvent-free liquids, and designed to efficiently fixture and encapsulate electronic components, while also protecting them from adverse environmental, mechanical, thermal and electrical stresses. SFY-131 (Flame Retardant Silicone for Potting) SFY-131 is a two-part with good flow ability addition curing RTV2 rubber silicone compound. It is mainly designed for electrical and electronic potting, such as power supplies, connector, sensor, relay, high voltage resistor pack, and LED potting. It is suitable for batch processing or automated dispensing. With different colors for better distinction, base is black or dark grey and curing agent is white. It can be cured in a 1:1 ratio by weight or volume either at room temperature or elevated temperature for faster processing. The cured mixture is a black flexible elastomer. The elastomer has excellence in electrical properties and waterproof, self-extinguishing (UL94V0 approved), and weather resistance. Those properties are not significantly affected by the changes of temperature.

1. How to operate the electronic potting silicone rubber?
1). RTV-1 electronic potting silicone rubber: handled with guns, needle infection or directly infused 2). RTV-2 electronic potting silicone rubber: stir---vacuum and de-air---perfusion. The mixing ratio of our electronic potting silicone rubber, HY210, HY215 is 10:1, condensation mold silicon rubber can be operated like this. 3). Addition type electronic potting silicon rubber: the mixing raito is 1:1 or 10:1. If in10:1, it is normally operated by labor, because it is easy to cause uneven curing if by machine,. If 1:1, it is normally operated by machine, suitable for mass industrial production and helpful for time saving, labor cost saving and efficiency increasing.
2. Does SFY-131 contain any solvents?
No. SFY-131 does not contain any kind of solvents. SIFEL is naturally liquid type without any solvent.
